Divchata is the project about us - women of the 25 oblasts of Ukraine. 

Each portrait is an ode to my country's beauty, uniqueness and diversity.

Each portrait is also a self-portrait: through photographing Ukrainian women, I recover my identity that I have lost due to Soviet opression of Ukrainian language & culture.
